Every mandate begins with one conversation.

Whether you are weighing a sale, pursuing an acquisition, or seeking access to what lists next — a partner will speak with you personally, and in confidence.

Tell us what you are considering.

Before you write

The questions that come before a mandate.

Four we are asked first, answered here — so the first conversation can start somewhere further on.

  1. Who do you work with?

Public and private companies weighing a decision that touches capital, and qualified investors seeking access to late-stage positions. Founder- and family-owned businesses are the core of the practice.

  2. Is an initial conversation confidential?

Yes, and it stays that way. Nothing you tell us is circulated, shopped or indexed, and no process begins until you decide it should.

  3. What does it cost to sell with us?

On a sell-side mandate, nothing. There is no engagement fee and no success commission, and the terms are set out in writing, in full, before any work begins.

  4. How quickly will I hear back?

A partner replies within two business days, from New York or London. The reply is an answer to what you asked, not a pitch.
